Hopedale Pond Portraits- The Block Family

August 29, 2019

Filed in: family

This was my first time in the Hopedale area and my first time at Hopedale Pond. Hopedale pond made for a charming backdrop: lake, flowers, a cute museum gift shop and some industrial looking factories in the distance. It was a gorgeous morning when I met the Block family there for their family portrait session. The weather was sunny and warm with a sweet little breeze in the air.

David had surprised his wife for her birthday with a family portrait session and they were excited. The last time admittedly they had their photos taken was a few years back at their wedding. I thought it was a great way to document the change in their lives and include the addition of their sweet baby boy Jeremy.

We explored Hopedale pond and the surrounding areas finding little spots to relax and for them to spend some time together documented. Jeremy is a very active 10 month old boy. However he was very happy with the toys his parents brought and my bag of goodies as well. We were able to keep his attention peeked for quite some time.

Jeremy especially enjoyed the bubbles that I brought and of course all the silliness that I added to the session. I do like to have fun at my sessions interacting with the families and especially the children, lets face it can be so much fun to do! Who doesn’t want to hang out and be kids with kids!?

David and Amanda describe Jeremy as an active little boy (which he is). The things they love most about him are his smile and happy nature, and that he roars like a dinosaur. How cute!! I had a lot of fun with this family and I am really excited about the images that I captured. Here are a few of my favorites, I hope you enjoy them!
I mean am I right or what? That is one cute baby! David and Amanda I had the best time with you and your little family, and it was such a pleasure to be your family portrait photographer. Special props to Jenny Richard of All Aboard Event Planning for referring me to this family. Client referrals are such an intricate part of my business. They are my bread and butter!
