On June 17th, Ken and Christine (aka Bean) got married on a sunny and beautiful day at White Cliffs Country Club in Plymouth, MA. These two lovebirds met online and within their second date were practically inseparable. These two fit perfectly together making witty jokes and acting goofy daily. They both live and work together in their gorgeous home in Kingston, MA although will soon be moving back to Chicago for Ken’s work. They are excited and even though they have only lived in Massachusetts for a short amount of time they have made an impression on many people and I can definitely see why.
On the wedding day I met up with Christine and her girls for some getting ready photos at Ken and Christine’s home. Christine’s bridesmaids are close friends from her childhood or her college years and were a hoot. Before Christine put on her dress they all piled on her bed for a group photo; in their robes. There was a very chill vibe in the air and Christine was very relaxed and not at all nervous.
After she got dressed we waited for Ken and his groomsmen to arrive for their first look which took place in their front yard near some impressive stone steps. There was such a look of excitement on both of their faces right before they saw each other all dressed up. It was a sweet moment for them to share before we headed to the venue to take care of all the formal and family photos before their ceremony.
We took the family portraits near the venue overlooking the ocean and then headed down to the beach for the wedding formals and some intimate photos of the two of them before they said their I do’s. You really couldn’t have asked for a better day; beautiful blue sky, warm sun and a light cool breeze. After their first look we headed back to the venue so that they could get ready for their ceremony.
They said their vows under the white gazebo overlooking the ocean with their closest friends and family members sitting and standing around them. It was a short and thoughtful ceremony with Ken’s brother Eric as the officiant and also his half sister who did a reading before the vows.
Nancy from a Warm Reception did a FABULOUS job putting the wedding tent together. It was truly a beautiful scene for two amazing people. There was a gorgeous cake from Just Desserts and four fun flavors of cupcakes. Good Will and Them Apples made both the cocktail hour and the reception rock. The excitement never stopped all night.
It was a beautiful wedding and all of Christine and Ken’s friends and family made both me feel very welcome. Special thanks to my friend and colleague Dawn Temple for joining me of this day and helping me create timeless photos of this lovely couple.
Congratulations Christine and Ken, it was an honor to be there for the both of you on such a beautiful day!
