Angie and Adam got married on Sunday September 4th at Terrydiddle Farm in Rehoboth, MA. Angie and Adam are both teachers and are just about the most warm and welcoming people you could ever meet.

Their day was nothing short of amazing; laid-back and lovely just like the two of them. I met Angie and her girls in the loft above the barn for some getting ready photos and then we joined Adam behind the barn for a sweet first look. There might have been a few tears (myself included) when these two saw each other for the first time. After the first look we did family and bridal party photos in front of a gorgeous backdrop of green ferns before their intimate ceremony which took place in front of the barn.

It was a gorgeous day and Adam’s dad Donald officiated their union under a birch and holly arbor facing the field. Angie and Adams friend Sarah whom they both met in Korea did a tender reading from the book the Velveteen Rabbit and Adam’s cousin Nicholas also read a touching passage. The sky was blue and there was the loveliest breeze as these two said I do. After the ceremony friends joined the happy couple for cocktails and fresh fruit in and around the barn. There was corn hole and JENGA for fun party games which created a relaxing and intimate atmosphere for all that gathered.

Angie and Adam entered their party tent to music from Adam’s friends band The Lexies and everyone sat at long communion style tables covered in brown kraft paper and adorned with horseshoes and mason jars full of babies breath and pink hydrangeas.  Guests enjoyed delicious BBQ food from All Friend’s Catering and yummy cupcakes from Wrights Farm Bakery. There was a first dance to “Marry Song” by Band of Horses played by the Lexies and touching toasts from Best Man Jason, Maid of Honor Katlyn and Angie’s mom Diane also said a few words.

After dinner Angie and Adam let us tear them away for some photos of the two of them as they enjoyed each others company on this beautiful day. We found a heavenly spot in the woods with gorgeous light and also spent time with the farm animals. All in all it was one for the books and a complete pleasure and honor to be there to help celebrate and memorialize this couples beautiful love story.
